Auto -A policy in which people pay annual premiums to an auto insurance company; the company then pays all or most of the costs associated with an auto accident or other car damage. You might need this if you are in an accident, if your vehicle is damaged due to weather or vandalism or if your vehicle is stolen.
Motorcycle - A motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, or designed to travel on two wheels in contact with the ground which is modified by the addition of two stabilizing wheels on the rear of the motor vehicle. You might need this if there is damage to your motorcycle due to an accident, vandalism, etc. or if you are injured. Motorcycle insurance is the specific insurance that can cover the legal liabilities arising from the use of a motorcycle, including bodily injury liability, collision, comprehensive, medical payments, and passenger liability.
Boat - A watercraft that is generally between 16 feet and 25 feet, 11 inches in length. Boat insurance typically covers physical damage and liability. You might need this if you want to protect your boat against physical damage and personal liability.
Collector Vehicles - Collector cars cover a broad spectrum of vehicles ranging from antique Model Ts to vintage John Deere tractors. These vehicles must be used on a minimal basis, such as exhibitions, club activities, and parades or similar events and you need to have restored, maintained, or preserved your antique or classic car. You might need this if you own a motor vehicle that is ten or more years old and is rare or of special historical interest because of exceptionally fine workmanship or limited production or you own a motor vehicle that is 25 years old or older.
RV - Recreational vehicles are travel trailers, including campers, pop-ups, fifth wheels, horse trailers and toy haulers. Liability extends from the vehicle that is pulling. Coverage is purchased for physical damage only. You might need this because your RV is more than a car, and RV insurance covers situations that are generally not covered under a standard auto insurance policy.
ATV - An All TerrainVehicle are 3 to 6 wheel motor vehicles designed for use on rugged terrain and equipped with crawler treads or balloon tires; snowmobiles are included. You might need this if you ride off of your property and if you trailer your ATV to another location. It's also important to keep in mind that a lot of state-owned and public parks require ATV insurance in order to ride on their trails. ATV's are considered off-road vehicles.
Motor Homes - Motor homes are driven by gasoline motors and are licensed for road use. You might need this if you want to cover liability and physical damage that can occur to your motor home.
Non-Owned Auto - A non-owned auto is generally defined as one that is not legally owned leased, hired, rented, or borrowed by the policyholder, but is used in conjunction with the policy holder's business. You might need this if the policyholder derives benefit from the use of this auto; it possibly faces some liability in the event of a collision that causes bodily injury or property damage to third parties.
